Mentholatum Acnes

I am always skeptical of products that claim to work miracles on acne/pimples after trying Oxy5 and TBS Tea Tree series so I wasn’t very willing when my sister asked me to buy Mentholatum Acnes. However, I am very VERY glad that I bought this product because this is simply amazing!

I Moved the Mountains and Bombed the Terrain

The numerous small bumps on the left side of my face have almost vanished, leaving gaping pores in their wake. I’m not sure if that is a good or bad thing, but at least my face is smooth now and all I have to do now is shrink those ugly pores.

I have no idea which product did it. I should have listed every product I had used from cleanser to over-nighters. So let me backtrack as much as possible.

Yesterday (Sat) morning: Himalayas cleanser, Bio-essence moisturiser, EDM concealer and foundation.
Yesterday night: Acnes cleanser, no toner, Vichy night cream, Skinc hyaluronic acid and The Face Shop eye cream.

Friday morning:Bio-essence moisturiser, The Face Shop eye cream and 2.5 Benzoyl Peroxide
Friday night: Vichy night cream, The Face Shop eye cream and Panoxyl 2.5 .

Thursday night: Acnes cleanser, Vichy night cream, The Face Shop eye cream and Panoxyl.

I have a feeling it’s the Acnes cleanser since my bumps leveled after I started using it. Never happened before. I did a small test today by washing my face this morning with:

the Korean whitening facial wash instead of Acnes. I then applied my routine BE moisturiser, Skinc hyaluronic acid serum and TFS eye cream.

Let’s see what happens. I hate being a guinea pig even if I’m being a guinea pig for myself.
